TECOMA DRYING TECHNOLOGY has recently brought to completion the commissioning of an innovative poultry blood drying system in a “rendering” section of a major Italian company of poultry meat production industry. Such a drying system is able to dry out, almost totally, the poultry blood (previously centrifuged) addressed to the system itself, obtaining a valuable product thanks to its final characteristics in terms of granulometry (particles size) and digestibility.
Main features of blood meal obtained:
Residual moisture content: ≤ 5 %
Blood meal particles size (100%): ≤ 0,5 mm
Digestibility: ≥ 95 %
This blood drying system is definitely original for its distinctive features as easy-of-use, flexibility and efficiency and allows the User to get a great benefit in terms of by-product valorization.
