The following pictures show two spray dryers with the same evaporative capacity. The first with a traditional configuration with a vertical tower. The second, as you can see in the picture, with a horizontal axis. Compared with the vertical configuration, the horizontal solution, GATEDRYER® , has numerous advantages. As you can easily see from the pictures below, the GATEDRYER® drying chamber has a volume of about 1/8th of that of the traditional tower with the same evaporative capacity. A smaller volume means lower building construction costs . But it also means a shorter residence time for products inside the chamber, compared to a conventional tower, allowing products that would tend to degrade with temperature to be preserved.
