FLASHDRYER – Glycyrrhizic Acid Drying Plant
The images show a plant designed for the drying of glycyrrhizic acid, an active compound extracted from licorice and widely used in the pharmaceutical and food industries.
The drying process is carried out in multiple stages to ensure maximum efficiency and product quality:
✅ First Stage – Flashdryer
In this phase, glycyrrhizic acid is dried using a system with short residence times but high temperatures, ensuring a rapid reduction of the initial moisture content.
✅ Second Stage – Biphasic Drying
This technology operates at low temperatures with extended material residence times in hot air, achieving a final moisture content of less than 1%, while preserving the product’s characteristics.
✅ Final Stage – Cooling and Micronization
After drying, the material is cooled and then micronized using a refining mill, obtaining an optimal particle size for subsequent processing stages.
This plant represents a technologically advanced solution for the treatment of glycyrrhizic acid, combining production efficiency with high product quality.
